Engineered Garments Goes Asymmetric with New Balance's 990v5

Engineered Garments continues its successful run of asymmetric design applied to timeless silhouettes as it teams up once again with New Balance for a footwear collaboration.

Coming in three staple colorways, gray, navy, and black, the revamped 990v5 models are crafted with uppers that are constructed from multiple materials to give a familiar yet refreshing look. Upper panels switch between canvas, leather, and suede materials with slightly contrasting shades over a mesh base while the asymmetry is further emphasized by having the panel design to be mismatched with the other foot. The leather panels are intentionally wrinkled to give a distressed look, emphasizing the durability and wearability of the iconic shoe.
