WMV Spring/Summer '20
Carrying the DNA of visvim close to heart, the label’s womenswear counterpart, WMV, heads the Spring/Summer ‘20 season with its own take on Americana.
Filtered for a demographic distinct though still charmed by the Japanese label, the collection adopts quite a few exclusive styles next to pieces much more universal. The latter, of militaria aplenty, takes the shape of M51s built of luxe, glimmering nylons and even liner jackets patched with patriotic motifs; elsewhere, workwear sees full representation as well, fine tuning the beloved chore coat replete with vintage feel. Draped shawls take on a knit construction of muddy earth tones, blending well with the assortment of red, cream, and indigo-tinged blouses and dresses whose patterns sprawl with floral motifs or even gridded block prints. High quality footwear continues to be non-gender specific, thankfully, bringing a return to mocassins and signature visvim styles that are almost made to be worn with their season-less distressed denim.
