HYKE Autumn/Winter '20
Properly recognized for their past collaborations with The North Face, Japanese women’s label HYKE by designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode presents its extensive outerwear selections characterized by military-inspired colorways as it prepares for the upcoming colder weathers.
Shape and drape are main empahsis points in their latest runway show with lengthy pieces, often extending below the knee. Quilted ponchos utilize traditional style buttons for the main closure while an extended collar provides protection against the elements. Minimalist designs are impressed on functional trench coats and hooded parkas, while geometric patterns and stripes make appearances on dresses and cropped top layers. HYKE also showcases its latest collaboration pieces with Adidas, crafting elevated technical wear as noted by their motto “Adidas Adventure”. Pleated skirts are fitted with a co-branded elastic waist band alongside stripped-down jackets comprised of baggy sleeves and held together with a large centered strap.
