KAPITAL KOUNTRY Further Explores Indigo Dyes With Their Spring/Summer '20 Capsule
KAPITAL’s widely diverse mainline collections have served to expand the brand’s styles into high numbers, but further on, they give each a new lease on life under the adjacent KOUNTRY line-up. The latter, who’s now bringing in current season fare, proffers new details and a preference for indigo dyes as they transition deeper into Spring/Summer ‘20.
Though suiting and a select round of basics are left unblemished, most have been modified with uneven color treatments or more meticulous embroideries. Souvenir-style ponchos, western shirts, and a deep assortment of distressed caps are all embellished by stitched details, with their complexity ranging from simple Xs across the arm to ornate imagery of Japanese locales and elegant florals. Elsewhere, Saint Mary sprawls in all-over graphic form, posed in prayer along the quilted bombers as well as the more relaxed lounge pants. And as the bottom has its own blue-dyed alternate, many other garments such as vintage-washed sweatshirts, ruffled dresses, point collar tops, and more do the same -- each not without the endearing imperfection. Patched truckers and bone print noragis then round off the selection with some of KAPITAL’s more signature motifs.
