Prasthana Autumn/Winter '20

Prasthana designer Daisuke Takei has always had an eye for creating original yet memorable urban garments, fusing function with his heavy influence of ‘90s street culture. His latest Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection is another step forward to achieving this vision as he presents sleek outdoor-ready garments contextualized for the city environments.

Bold tones are incorporated into the highly textured essentials such as their red tank top and yellow long sleeve turtleneck. Thick collared sweaters fitted with plaid patterns incorporate functionality through a large flap chest pocket while Western-inspired button-up work shirts featuring white stitch details. Heavy duty outerwear pieces include their contemporary take on a hooded trench coat utilizing a release buckle around the waist as well as a blue-orange paneled parka with wool on the outside and lined with a nylon layer inside providing warmth and protection from the wet elements. In line with the relaxed aesthetics of the collection, trousers are cropped and wide-fitting, further emphasizing the aim for comfort and breathability.

Stay tuned for the full collection’s release at Prasthana.
