RIOTDIVISION Spring/Summer '20
RIOTDIVISION, with their decades’ worth of experience, prepares for further dystopia with their Spring/Summer ‘20 range, proffering a slew of techwear staples that run replete with this idea of “Zeroization.” Effectively without the non-essential, the collection embarks on a fresh set of technical parkas, cargo trousers, and modified basics.
Among their fan favorite garments, the Ukranian label introduces two new internal series: the advanced NULLUS System and the more uniform PARTICLE models. Significant in their pronounced overlaid compartments, the latter shrouds its ventilating mesh inserts across both trousers and shorts, matching the nylon constructions of its NULLUS alternate. But despite their similar oversized pockets, the aforementioned puts further emphasis as it designs brutalist aesthetic. It’s complementing jacket, which is by far more complex, effectively melds together two pieces: an upper marked by protective hoods and zipper-accented zippers and a bottom of vest-like compositions.
Moreover, the Lizard and Double Zip Anorak make a return this season with a new color range, brandishing their iconic styling with arrangements of white and olive, respectively, while also delivering more versatile black palettes together. Mainstay bottoms -- such as the Samurai, 4 Pocket, and 2 Pocket -- dress greyscale, standing alongside a slew of graphic caps, tees, and hoodies whose motifs are relatively simple as they display geometric blocks, simple morse code, and circular prints.
