BEAMS BOY Previews Vol. 1 of its "Boy's Rule" SS20 Catalogue
BEAMS sub-label BEAMS BOY, who specialize in crafting womenswear adapted from the silhouettes and functionality of menswear, showcase their first set of lookbook stylings entitled “Boy’s Rule” for its Spring/Summer 2020 season.
Their latest collection takes inspiration from Ivy League and military styles as highlighted by two iconic models: the Navy Blazer and the Fatigue Jacket. BEAMS BOY’s Navy Blazer is their take on the everyday classic jacket with golden button details and interior red-white striped seams. A sporty East-coast outfit pairs the Blazer layered over a zip hoodie jacket and bright yellow cropped trousers while a formal style features complimentary slacks and bandanna accessories. Another highlight piece is the Fatigue Jacket, a modern reinterpretation of the vintage military piece keeping quite true to its original design. The ultra-light nylon olive drab overshirt features front hidden button details, large storage field pockets, and adjusters on the cuff and waist. Additional drops from the first set of the collection include gray heather sweats with V-shaped necked gussets, BD Oxford Shirts, and shoelace replacements for Converse Chucks.
