Putting their spin on iconic styles of clothing, uniform experiment has incorporated Loro Piana’s fabrics to mix luxurious fabrics with everyday garments.
The two garments in question are the iconic Alpha Industries MA-1 and Side Pocket Tapered Pants that combine utilitarian silhouettes with premium fabrics. The bespoke MA-1 jacket, for example, adopts the same silhouette and fit but the fabric has been switched on the left arm from the armpit to the cuff, instead adding Loro Piana Striped Wool in place of nylon twill. Other additions include ribbed cuffs, a utility pocket and signature orange lining for the interior. Adopting the same striped wool, the Side Pocket Tapered Pants are crafted from Loro Piana Australian merino wool with a faint stripe and a slight tapered fit that falls nicely. Details include a zippered pocket on the right thigh that doesnt hinder the fit and a D-ring attachment on the belt loops.
