POSTELEGANT, led by creative director Yuya Nakata, returns with its Spring/Summer ‘22 collection that continues to hone in on their goal of creating timeless modern wear.
The mixed line captures the essence of the Spring season - lightweight, free flowing, and casual, all combined with qualities of high fashion such as detailed construction, locally sourced fabrics, and elegant patterns. The women’s collection is highlighted by full length dresses expressed through flared silhouettes and various iterations such as textured linen, striped patternways, and integrated waist belt fasteners. Alongside the formal-influenced button up shirts, blazers, and minimal trousers are a wide selection of technical jackets such as their collared coat which showcases shoulder straps, sleeve straps, and an array of storage pockets around the waist. However, the stand out piece is POSTELEGANT’s take on the fisherman vest, elevated with a speckled woven fabric, four chest pockets, and a slightly elongated hem for unique layering visuals.
