BEAMS x Abu Garcia Present a Fishing-Inspired Capsule for Spring/Summer '21
As we delve further into Spring/Summer ‘21, BEAMS furthers their collaborative spree. With a couple under their belt already, the latest is between the otherwise unassuming fishing apparel and goods brand, Abu Garcia.
The collection includes of a number of fishing apparel accessories with the addition of a military-inspired BDU jacket that have each been cut to more modern and comfortable styles. The pair have produced a utility vest, graphic tee, cargo shorts, bucket hat and a BDU jacket. In the process, they have been able to hang on to some functional details like multi-pocket cargo designs, water-repellent exteriors and D-ring attachments. One particular garment from the collaborative endeavour is the BDU jacket that mixes elements from military and fishing wear, such as the pocket arrangement and chin strap. Constructed using a durable water-repellent polyester, it has a little stretch to it which aids comfort whilst lightly repelling water. Each item is clad in either black or military olive drab and features Abu Garcia script branding throughout.
