SEVENSTORE Honours C.P. Company's 50-Year Legacy in Latest Editorial

To shine a light on C.P. Company’s Spring/Summer ‘21 pieces, SEVENSTORE has produced an editorial feature that honours the legacy Massimo Osti cultivated when he launched the brand in 1971.

With C.P. Company’s 50th anniversary looming overhead, Tayler Prince-Fraser and Koen Prince-Fraser of Original Shift took some of the brand’s most iconic pieces on an everyday journey that explores C.P. Company’s relationship with function, utility and everyday wear. There aren’t many brands occupying the sportswear field that come more iconic than C.P. Company, or, perhaps its younger sibling, Stone Island. This reputation was harnessed through Massimo Osti’s infatuation with workwear and a desire to push the boundaries of fabric technology - to many, he is one of the most influential designers across multiple generations. Tayler and Koen took some of the latest C.P. Company garments over to Croydon, South London, to capture them in environments that are familiar to them and their friends, including their studio space, local cafe, town centre and a small woodland, all whilst demonstrating how the brand has adapted over the years to occupy many spaces across fashion. Some of the featured pieces in the editorial include those from the ‘Metropolis’ collection, a rebirth of C.P. Company’s Urban Protection range from the 1990s and early 2000s that developed a new kind of uniform for urban dwellers.

The latest from C.P. Company is available now from SEVENSTORE online and in-store.
