mfpen and Adieu Take on the Classic Derby and Loafer Style for Autumn/Winter '21
For Autumn/Winter ‘21, Copenhagen-based label, mfpen, has linked up with French shoemakers, Adieu Paris, to take on two of the most iconic footwear silhouettes of all time.
Crafted by expert shoemakers, mfpen puts a modern and distinct twist on these two examples of universal design. Adieu presented their Derby and Loafer models for mfpen to put their name to whilst maintaining the typical proportions of the shoe without altering it too much. They have been expertly crafted with premium leather and sublime stitching. As a result, the Derby sits atop an exaggerated injected rubber sole, reminiscent of a rugged hiking boot, and the suave Loafer is built upon a cork-coloured crepe sole. The Loafer and Derby will be made in both a deep black and dark espresso colour.
