Lee Japan Debuts its 'Craftworks' Line
With a focus on upcycling preexisting items of clothing, Lee Japan is gearing up to release its ‘Craftworks’ line of apparel.
Given the abundance of leftover deadstock clothing that is often not sold, or can’t be sold, for whatever reason, Lee Japan has decided to upcycle these pieces and give them a new lease-of-life. With their denim expertise in mind, they look to European workwear styles as a focal point, bringing forth styles like the Painter Pants, Loco Jacket and Work Pants, among a handful of other styles. Putting a twist on each piece in a worn-in workwear way, we see patches of corduroy embroidered onto bottoms, paint splatters, distressing and blown-out details.
These items will be on sale from August 27th in their new LUCUA Osaka Store as well as locations in Harajuku, Nagoya and Shinjuku.
