A Closer Look at the Latest Release from DAIWA PIER39 Autumn/Winter '21

DAIWA PIER39 has a very distinct vision, one that is instantly recognisable, and this is never forgotten when it comes to each and every garment they release.

For their Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection, the diffusion line looks to the theme of ‘American Classic Uniforms’ with an emphasis on tweaking the silhouettes we see from the fields of outdoor, sports, military and American traditional. Some of the latest pieces to come from the function-driven imprint include bottoms, outerwear, jackets, headwear and shirting, all delivered in a pure DAIWA way: oversized cuts, technical fabrications and multi-pocket designs. The aforementioned comprises of the Tech Cruiser Down Jacket, Tweed Easy Trousers, Tech Fishing Jacket and Corduroy Jungle Hat, to name a few of many. One piece that we’d particularly like to mention is the ‘Tech Perfect Fishing Jacket’, a heavily fishing inspired garment that features a multitude of pockets with snap closure and zipper fastening much like you’d see on its traditional counterpart. It has been crafted from 100% polyester and has a slight water repellent exterior as well as a stowaway hood within the stand collar. The latter will be available in four colours: ecru, beige, olive and black.

Expect the latest drop to be available from DAIWA PIER39’s online store and select retailers on the 28th of August.
