Craghoppers Unveils its Autumn/Winter '21 Collection Titled 'The Dusk Arrival
With its roots heavily embedded in the field of British outdoors wear, Craghoppers charts for a new, greener future with their Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection, titled ‘The Dusk Arrival’.
Inspired by the film style of hyperrealism and superimposition, characterised by the likes of Stanley Kubrick in the 1970s and Nicholas Roeg, ‘The Dusk Arrival’ is a gloomy contrast to our preconceptions of the outdoors label, but one that places emphasis on the clothing. A handful of styles have been curated to represent Autumn/Winter ‘21 including the Bronn and Caldbeck Thermal Jacket for women’s, and the Trillick Downlike Jacket and Cromarty Jacket for mens, as well as a number of crossover unisex styles. The aforementioned have been offered alongside a range of fleece tops, lightweight bottoms, technical outerwear and insulated shirts, with functional materials like GORE-TEX and AquaDry thrown in for protection against the unexpected elements. Pushing the envelope in terms of fabric technology is Craghoppers new ‘Dynamic’ range that taps into the brand’s fell running and hiking expertise by developing a technology that helps to reflect the body’s own infrared rays back to conserve energy during activity. This has been utilised on the aptly named ‘Dynamic Jacket’ which boasts an AquaDry membrane, waterproof zippers with extended pulls and adjustable hood, all of which heighten the protection you are guaranteed.
As time goes on, Craghoppers continues its mission towards sustainability by using materials that are made from leftover plastic bottles, yet still fusing technical details.
