HAVEN Sharpens its Focus for Autumn/Winter '21
Multi-faceted Canadian retailer, HAVEN, operates a fully-fledged apparel line that draws on decades of expertise in the industry; now, they are welcoming in their Autumn/Winter ‘21 range.
HAVEN’s in-house brand takes design cues from across the performance and utility spectrum, frequently dabbling in military and workwear-inspired garments that prioritise comfort and functionality - none is true than their upcoming Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection. With HAVEN hailing from Canada, known for its bitter winters, the collection has been geared towards the cold and rain synonymous with the seasonal climate, placing emphasis on technical materials that ensure warmth and protection from the rain. Therefore, we see the likes of Loro Piana's Storm System® 3L Wool technology come into play: a fabric system that combines natural materials with lightweight, water-repellent and breathable properties. Alongside that, lighter outerwear options incorporate DICROS® mauri which is a windproof and water-repellent polyester with a cotton-like touch and appearance. Lastly, when nothing else will beat the cold, HAVEN has made use of PrimaLoft Gold and 800 fill white goose down. To accompany the outerwear options, HAVEN has designed a range of mid-layer and base layers to keep the cold out that use technology like Polartec Windbloc and Classic - fleece shirting, hoodies and snoods to name but a few.
Finally, this season marks the introduction of HAVEN’s original footwear program where we will see them working alongside a small-scale manufacturer in Italy to craft a modern take on the classic combat boot. In true form, the result will be a combination of modern production techniques and the highest quality materials.
Drop 1 of HAVEN’s Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection will release online and in-store at HAVEN’s Toronto and Vancouver locations on 23rd of September.
