and Wander and Salomon Prioritise Function for Autumn/Winter '21
Off the back of their polarising Moncler collaboration, and Wander continues to work alongside Salomon into the Autumn/Winter ‘21 season.
Designed to ease the transition between urban and rural settings, and Wander and Salomon’s seasonal partnerships often see the former putting a distinct twist on function-forward footwear. For Autumn/Winter ‘21, the pair has conjured up three models including the Salomon XT-6, Outpath CSWP and the Reflective Highcut Sneakers. Taking inspiration from both brands, the models feature touches like reflective detailing, waterproof uppers and rocker-enhanced soles for added propulsion. If we take a look at the Khaki Reflective Highcut Sneakers, it features a waterproof ripstop upper with mesh accents and reflective details throughout. To assist you on long trails, it has a rocker-shaped sole that helps to drive you forward, reducing energy expenditure when you are tired. Whilst the XT-6 and Outpath CSWP both feature Salomon’s Quick Lace system and deep-lugged soles.
The Outpath and Reflective Highcut Sneakers are set to release on the 24th of September via and Wander’s Japanese locations whereas the XT-6 will be released in October.
