Marmot Infuse Reproduces Classic Styles for Autumn/Winter '21
First founded in 1974, Marmot is an outdoor brand that has earnt the trust of professionals and enthusiasts alike through the technical capabilities of their products.
Some of their early styles are the most coveted which is where Marmot Infuse comes in. By paying homage to Marmot’s foundations, the ‘Infuse’ line seeks to reintroduce early styles but bring them up to a modern specification through improved construction, more ergonomic cuts and functional fabrics. For Autumn/Winter ‘21, six styles have been released including the Picket Pin Parka, 200 Kit Jacket and Alpha Kit Jacket, as well as three other functional outerwear staples. Some of the featured fabrics include Polartec Alpha, Pertex Quantum Air and GORE-TEX Infinium, to name but a few, that bolster the reputation of the garments they are used on. Take the All Weather Kit Parka, for example, which is an interpretation of Marmot’s ‘All Weather Parka’ from the 1970s, it has been crafted using the supple GORE-TEX Infinium material that lends windproof, breathable and waterproof properties to the parka. These all create a technical layering system whereby the pieces can be worn in conjunction with each other to optimise their functions.
