Underpinned by the theme ‘Overprotection’, meanswhile has unveiled its Spring/Summer ‘23 collection.

Closely abiding by its ethos of treating clothes as tools, meanswhile presents yet another collection that merges functionality with wearability. At a glance, the range consists of a myriad of outerwear, legwear, shirting and tops that are designed through a clear-cut meanswhile lens, adopting exaggerated silhouettes and intertwining subtle elements of functional design. As for the outerwear, we see workwear-inspired denim jackets sitting alongside technical coats with expandable back panels. Following a similar fashion to previous seasons, the legwear offering consists of a handful of bottom and short styles of the voluminous variety, with side-piping, contrasting panels and external pockets thrown in for good measure. Lastly, as for shirting and tops, they either function as layering options or standalone pieces with shirts featuring overlapping sleeves and assorted pockets, as well as zipper-closure pockets in the appropriate place.

There is no confirmed release date, but stay tuned for further updates.
