Engineered Garments x BEAMS PLUS 'Reversible Field Fur Coat'
Engineered Garments and BEAMS PLUS reconvene for another hard-hitting outerwear collaboration, this time producing the ‘Reversible Field Fur Coat’.
Leaning on military wear for the backbone of the garment, the pair have opted to use faux fur, a material that has been appropriated over time for cold weather protection in military settings for its insulating properties. In accordance with the theme, the Field Coat silhouette adopts a functional pocket system throughout that is reminiscent of styles of clothing from a similar period. On the back of the coat is an extended ventilation system that runs from top to bottom with a button closure. As it is reversible, one side features faux fur and the other is made from a polyester poplin material.
