Sage Nation Autumn/Winter '23

Established a mere three years ago, in 2020, Sage Nation has gone from strength to strength in the years since, garnering collaborations with industry names like Helly Hansen and The Garbstore in the process, whilst defining a clear identity for itself.

Inspired by an amalgamation of Japanese design and British culture, Sage Nation continues to lean on this heritage which has manifested itself in voluminous military-inspired silhouettes constructed using technical materials that are synonymous with Japan. The collection is replete with garments that are inspired by workwear, sportswear and military, often delivered in a characteristic oversized manner; for example, a reworked Harrington that borrows the name JiJi, as well as the fossil tracksuit set that features a ruching detail reminiscent of ancient fossils. Throughout Autumn/Winter ‘23, the label maintains its relationship with renowned British textile mills such as Marton Mills and Alfred Brown, specifically for their wool. The soft nature of woollen materials is carefully juxtaposed with heavy-duty nylons and lightweight cotton ripstop. Replicated in previous seasons, Sage Nation’s colour palette stays true to the Japanese concept of the ‘Power of Five’ as garments adopt shades of vibrant yellow, grey, navy, beige and khaki.

Due to release later in the year, Sage Nation Autumn/Winter ‘23 will be available internationally through selected stockists such as Ssense and Browns, as well as on the Sage Nation website.
