PRE_ Announces New Diffusion Line ‘PRE_CIAL’ Built on Classic Silhouettes
Designed under the guise of PRE_’s creative director, Takayuki Minami, PRE_CIAL has been built on the notion of adding modernity to existing clothing silhouettes and creating a new life for them.
Based in Los Angeles, PRE_CIAL proposes new silhouettes by tweaking and elevating existing ones through the use of upgraded technical fabrics and advanced construction methods. For its debut release, they have developed six unisex apparel styles using POLARTEC® material which is exceptionally lightweight yet heat-retaining. The result is the Heavy Boa Fleece Fleece Zip-Up Vest and Jacket, Boa Fleece Pullover, High Loft Fleece Tops, Micro Fleece Tops and Wind Pro Tops, each of which is designed to keep body heat in and the cold out. The Heavy Boa series is available in white, navy and black, whereas the tops come in four different colour variations.
While this is merely PRE_CIAL’s debut collection, it’ll be interesting to see how the diffusion line progresses going forward and what silhouettes they will look to reinterpret in the future.
