Satisfy and Oakley Reimagine Performance Wear with 'Equipment for Our World' Capsule
For Spring/Summer ‘23, Oakley and Satisfy have devised a two-part capsule collection comprising a range of performance-oriented sunglasses and apparel.
Brought together by the shared notion of creating ‘equipment for our world’, the pieces within the range are inspired by Oakley’s rich archive that dates back to 1984 and Satisfy’s ideals and forward-thinking technologies, making this a valid showcase of design ingenuity.
Split into two parts, the first release involves a re-imagined version of Oakley’s Re:SubZero sunglasses which are incredibly lightweight, weighing in at a meagre 24 grams. There are two colours to choose from, including a dusty rose and a matte black, completed with PrizmTM technology, per Oakley’s specifications. Due to release in a month’s time, on the 23rd of June, the second part of this collaboration unites both accessories and apparel with the Eye JacketTM, as well as the addition of a cap, t-shirt, base-layer and half-tight shorts.
“We both share a vision of altering perception and creative process”, said Brice Partouche, Satisfy®'s Founder and Creative Director. “We develop technical products through strong narratives based on the worlds we have created. This collab was all about channelling the energy around Oakley®’s heritage and adding our layer of running performance through lightweight, premium materials and technical construction."
