gander Unveils its Debut Capsule Collection

After a successful pop-up the past weekend, gander is gearing up to release its debut capsule collection.

Born in Manchester, gander is a product of its environment, uniting nature and the city in a way devoid of conflict. By combining subtle technical features borrowed from outdoor clothing with purposeful silhouettes, gander has created a system of hybridised clothing that can easily be worn in the Peak District or at a festival. Not simply inspired by workwear or outdoor clothing, for example, gander follows a relatively simple philosophy: to create durable and long-lasting garments that are constructed properly in trusted factories, using materials that you can rely on - no matter where you find yourself.

Although concise in nature, the capsule collection includes the Peveril Jacket, Stone Circle T-Shirt and Peveril Trousers. Both the Peveril Jacket and Peveril Trouser are made using the same ‘New Mackintosh’ fabrication, a bonded polyester/cotton three-layer material that boasts waterproof, windproof and breathable properties. Each piece comes equipped with a number of technical features including a fully seam-taped interior, adjustability and spacious pockets. Lastly, the Stone Circle T-Shirt adopts a cropped silhouette and is made using a mid-weight 235 GSM cotton with a ribbed neck and side print.
