nanamica and PRISTINE Develop Two Outerwear Styles Made Solely from 'Real Fleece'

nanamica and PRISTINE, a brand championing organic cotton grown in Japan, have collaborated to develop a seasonal outerwear capsule consisting of two reversible styles made using ‘Real Fleece’, a 100% natural fibre.

After its collaboration with Spiber, which took place last Autumn/Winter, nanamica continues its pursuit of utilising more sustainable fabrics for clothing that does not compromise the garments’ functionality or aesthetic. The resulting styles include the Zip-Up Jacket, a unisex silhouette with a stand collar, ribbed cuff and hem and two-way zipper, and the Fleece Coat, a collaborative take on a nanamica classic, the military liner. The ‘Real Fleece’ material that PRISTINE has developed is made entirely using natural fibres and is characterised by its soft, fluffy texture and warm, tightly woven fabric. It is a natural alternative to synthetic materials that are typically used in favour of wool fleece.
