KAPTAIN SUNSHINE and COVERCHORD Team Up for the ‘FADE BLACK’ Capsule
As Autumn starts to take hold, KAPTAIN SUNSHINE and COVERCHORD have you prepared with their latest capsule, ‘FADE BLACK’.
This collaboration seeks inspiration from the Shonan region of Japan, a shared place that is close to the heart of KAPTAIN SUNSHINE’s designer and COVERCHORD’s buyer. KAPTAIN SUNSHINE has developed two special order items exclusive to COVERCHORD, the Hoody Pullover and Shoecut Easy Cordpants. The latter is based on a legwear style that KAPTAIN SUNSHINE introduced in Autumn/Winter ‘22, which COVERCHORD were a huge fan of, while the Hoody Pullover embodies the essence of classic cut-and-sew garments. KAPTAIN SUNSHINE utilises fabric to add an additional touch to these pieces. As hinted in the capsule’s title, the colour of the garments is ‘Faded Black’, a calm shade of black that elevates these garments beyond the ordinary.
