Aries Celebrates 100 Years of Umbro in Latest Capsule
In honour of Umbro’s 100th anniversary, the British sportswear brand has teamed up with Aries for a third instalment of their eagerly sought-after collaboration.
Inspired by Umbro’s rich archive of sports memorabilia and their relationship with football, they have prepared a capsule in collaboration with Aries that consists of two classic short-sleeve football jerseys, a long-sleeve goalkeeper jersey, football shorts and accessories. In addition, the pair rounds off the selection with a limited-edition navy-blue football jersey, exclusive to Aries with a run of 100 ‘centenary’ shirts.
The ‘Aries A-Rose’ graphic has been resurrected and repurposed across football jerseys as an ode to the English Rose while the goalkeeper top features a tonal black print of a mythical Lion. Umbro leaves its mark by the way of its double diamond logo, a hallmark of English football culture.
