Engineered Garments Reworks Red Wing's Classic Oxford Shoe in 'Red Sitter Remix’ Capsule

Engineered Garments Reworks Red Wing's Classic Oxford Shoe in 'Red Sitter Remix’ Capsule

To coincide with the renewal of Red Wing’s Oxford Shoe, Engineered Garments has designed a special edition that reflects its own design language, arriving as the ‘Red Sitter Remix’ capsule.

Releasing in three colourways - Triple Black, Camel Remix and Copper Remix - the Oxford Shoe is made by combining three different types of leather, Chrome, Abilene Suede and Prairie, to warrant a highly distinctive style that pays homage to this icon. While the mixed leather upper may appear uniform from a distance, up close, you can clearly see the unique textures of the leather panels, each developing its own distinct patina with wear. In homage to the Irish Setter, the model’s foundation, Engineered Garments and Red Wing have used the original label on the main tag, with the shoebox following the design of the original style. This understated iteration compliments Engineered Garments’ attitude to design.
