NEIGHBORHOOD and REGAL SHOE & Co. Debut on the 'Saddle Shoe Last'
NEIGHBORHOOD and REGAL SHOE & Co. present their debut collaborative product, a weatherproofed ‘Saddle Shoe Last’ loafer, balancing innovative technology and lasting design.
Made in Japan, the loafer is based on a REGAL SHOE & Co’s signature, with some vital NEIGHBORHOOD touches, including the deep black colourway created by switching between different materials of the same colour. Speaking on that, the upper is crafted from a mix of suede, smooth leather and pebble-grain leather, providing a rich textural experience. Supplying elegant styling and functionality, the loafer’s tank sole utilises a grippy Vibram NewFlex outsole, the interior is lined with a breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, and a Goodyear welt secures the midsole to the upper. As an ode to the original penny loafer, an original coin with an aged finish has been placed in the slit of the saddle.
