Goldwin Links Up with Kaptain Sunshine for a Snow Dwellers Themed Capsule
Goldwin may not appear too fashionable from an outsider’s perspective, but the storied technical label has more than a wealth of experience backed by some notable collaborations with the likes of Junya Watanabe, Porter, and now Kaptain Sunshine. Geared for the “Snow Dweller” and literally themed as such, the curated range tackles a small assortment of items more than able for its Winter sports of choice.
GORE-TEX constructed, co-branded along its tags, and dressed up in the most apt of earth tones, the small collection makes up for variety with undeniably utility in black, green, or beige. The weather-resistant construction of the mountain parka is stretched just a bit wider than the norm with pockets placed at both the upper chest and bottom half. Small compartments then lie on the arm for a bit of extra storage with zippers at the inner sides opening up for ventilation if needed. Bib pants accompany in the very same thick nylon material, pairing well with the outerwear piece not only for that alone but also in its matching details throughout. Fit to lie underneath, two -- one long and the other short-sleeve -- down tops bear lightweight architecture with little loss to warmth, affixing a more basic presentation of more textural quilting with stand collars to keep out a little extra wind.
Grab a close-up look at each of the available piece here and sit tight as the capsule will be releasing on December 6th at Goldwin both online and in-store.
