Story mfg Autumn/Winter '19
Leaders in sustainable fashion, Bobbin and Katy of Story MFG land on their latest Autumn/Winter collection. While at first offering smaller numbers of their year-round staples -- ones that still see use and favor in their recent displays -- the label has now come into their own while branching out into the unexpected. AW19 is thus a set of unmistakable fervor that crafts under the theme of “Earthtone.”
Oversized silhouettes continue to flesh out a look characteristic to the brand itself, with favorites like the Sundae and Monday jacket doubling in the familiar. Marking their foray into casual, streetwear staples, the imprint has now introduced a deeper breadth of graphic basics, offering hoodies with palm tree embroidery, tees of eco-friendly type, and others in appreciation for the planet we rest on. This, however, in no way impedes on their roster of outerwear and trousers whose materials are meticulously chosen to fit the two designers’ ideals. Velvet-like textures, corduroy, sturdy canvas, and more are all ethically sourced with their design branching out into Type 3s of tie-dye uppers, pullovers of vibrant hand-made embellishments, women’s dresses in free-flowing form, and naturally dyed, wide-cut pants.
As all things Story mfg, seeing and feeling is the only path to believe, so be sure to grab a detailed look at the whole lookbook right below and stay tuned for its arrival in the inbound season.
