HAVEN's Latest Editorial Displays Synergies Between WTAPS and NEIGHBORHOOD
HAVEN, a regular carrier of iconic Tokyo brands WTAPS and NEIGHBORHOOD, showcases the modularity, utilitarian features, and top-notch craftsmanship of both label garments in their latest editorial.
Both Shinsuke Takizawa of NEIGHBORHOOD and Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS have worked closely together since their inception in the early ‘90s, so it is no surprise to see striking similarities between their collections. Heavy duty outerwear pieces are highlighted including WTAPS polyester and nylon twill bomber jacket and NEIGHBORHOOD’s flight jacket in sheepskin leather. Military construction and influences are observed in tapered cargo BDU pants and olive drab field jackets while the Hanten Jacket by NEIGHBORHOOD represents a contemporary update of the kimono jacket. WTAPS also features their latest take on streetwear-ready hoodies in contrasting black and orange colorways as well as the traditional military olive.
