BlackEyePatch Spring/Summer '20

Displaying their trademarked sense for graphic design, BlackEyePatch’s current Spring/Summer ‘20 range turns to odds and ends for inspiration, warping the seemingly common into garments fitting of their rebellious ethos.

Short and well-curated yet equally considered, the styles traverse variety by way of universal staples, rarely stretching the lines of normality through their cut alone. These, ranging from striped shirting to bold-colored zip hoodies, all rely on silhouettes more contemporary, with an oversized look only marginally larger than commonplace. But even passed vibrant tones and subtle patterns, the Japanese label’s signature lies in their graphics, an assortment that makes full use of their evergreen logo text -- seen clearest atop a playful shipping label. Elsewhere, sweatshirts patch with spandex in campy nod to its material of choice while more text placements take the shape of aggressive typography or in bold white along the colorblocked overalls. Even bomber jackets stamp with their branding, lying on the backs of a hi-vis orange construction. Moreover, collared shirting heads to the dry cleaners, taking on loving messaging that would ordinarily be found on hangers.
