Sillage Pays Tribute to the Nike Air Rift with Their Next Ceramic Release

Sillage Pays Tribute to the Nike Air Rift with Their Next Ceramic Release

In the past year, Sillage has never ceased expanding their product breadth, the brand now releasing not only multi-part apparel collections but also what is now a series of sneaker-inspired ceramic works. And following their homage to the 990v3, the Japan-based label is setting in clay the Nike Air Rift -- one of Yuthanan’s favorite silhouettes.

Befitting its legacy, the tabi-toed Swoosh staple is being shaped by a local artisan in Seto, a city that Sillage proclaims to be the “cradle” of Japanese ceramics. Replicated as exact as possible, three hand-painted colorways -- a triple white, triple black, and the OG “Concord” -- are being presented later this week, all bearing every one of the Air Rift’s signature details alongside incense chamber utility.

If you’d like to get your hand on a set, they’ll be available this coming Wednesday, September 16th, on the Sillage Webstore.
