Reebok Channels Story mfg. for an Outdoor-Inspired Footwear Collaboration
Eco-conscious husband and wife team Story mfg. is as authentic as it gets when it comes to sustainable, contemporary outdoor-wear. Reebok has channeled their unmatched spirit for organic materials and handmade techniques as they present a two-piece footwear collaboration.
The Story mfg. x Reebok collaboration is based upon two of Reebok’s iconic silhouettes, the Club C 85 sneaker and the Beatnik mule, with both incorporating similar designs and intended for regular wear. The Beatnik iteration is a first of its kind, coming in a puffed variation with 100% recycled removable backstraps. Hidden in the inner front straps is a patch stating “Forage for wisdom with Story mfg.”, which is also displayed boldly on the Club C 85 tongue. Both models feature a slubby linen-cotton blend outer that will age and stain depending on its environment and a comfortable organic cotton ripstop lining. Semi-transparent gummy soles complement the tan upper, and the contrasting blue embroidered peace sign is perfectly inline with Story mfg.’s vision.
The collaboration is set to launch at Story mfg.’s online shop starting Feb 4th with a global release on Feb 6th.
