HYKE Autumn/Winter '21

HYKE Autumn/Winter '21

As we are now in the midst of Rakuten Tokyo Fashion Week, HYKE has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ’21 collection for all to see.

Tokyo Fashion Week is in full swing with collections by various brands and designers being debuted and, in spite of the ongoing global climate, HYKE has confronted the Autumn/Winter ’21 season head-on. Despite HYKE only being established in 2013, the two main figures behind the brand - Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode - have a wealth of knowledge and decades of expertise under their belt. Each season HYKE presents, these individuals tap into a bank of knowledge and develop the collection with the season in mind, therefore revolving cuts, materials and styles. The collection as a whole consists of military-inspired outerwear, knitwear, dresses, trousers, quilted vests, blazer jackets and more. While the cuts and silhouettes are wholly indicative of HYKE’s aesthetic, they are instantly recognisable and remain exciting through an eclectic use of colour, texture and detail, especially prevalent in the cream/green knitwear ensemble. Nods to apparel and accessories synonymous with the outdoors come in the form of makeshift carabiner belts and hiking-inspired boots with a raised heel and deep-lugged sole.

To get a better idea of the scope, take a look at HYKE’s Autumn/Winter ’21 collection below.
