Tokyo-based label White Mountaineering, often synonymous with technical materials and forward thinking designs, presents its outdoor-inspired pieces with a refreshing vision for their women’s Spring/Summer ‘22 collection.
Filled with free-flowing silhouettes that are perfect for the next Summer season, colorful floral patterns are the highlight of the collection. Paisley-like designs are incorporated on zip-up coach jackets that are accented with larger silverware and quilted collars. The same fabric transitions into dresses, skirts, and wide-legged trousers that can be worn both formally and casually. Bright blue and neon colored floral patterns reminiscent of vintage porcelain antiques are craftfully portrayed on their hooded dress and oversized button up shirts. Designer Yosuke Aizawa continues to utilize patchwork techniques for relaxed dresses that when incorporated with pinstriped patterns creates an illusion effect through the various lines. Technical outerwear remains a staple part of White Mountaineering as displayed through their zig-zag quilted anorak with a hidden zip hood.
