JohnUNDERCOVER and SueUNDERCOVER Team Up with Helly Hansen for a Round of Fleece Jackets
Out of this season’s many outerwear staples, fleece jackets seem to have stolen the show with every brand flocking to the warming material with their own distinct take. While Patagonia, The North Face, and many a technical outfit arrive near constantly prepared, fellow notable Helly Hansen is taking a slightly different approach with Japanese labels JohnUNDERCOVER and SueUNDERCOVER at its sides.
The two main arms of Jun Takahashi’s ever-iconic imprint, both have created options essentially cut from the same textural cloth though they individually opt for a design distinct from the other. Womenswear options are arguably much more involved in its modifications, bearing a simple coat-length construction with colorful patch embellishments towards its hem as well as ivory and red wools at both the the cuffs and lower back. Strips of a contrasting white tone hang down from just below the hood as well, a touch-up unavailable on the mens alternative. These, however, make up for what they lack with graphic adornments at the hood and arm of eye motifs and 3D type, respectively.
Grab a detailed look at the entire capsule right here and expect to find both available this weekend, November 9th, at certain Helly Hansen stores across Japan as well as online via UNDERCOVER’s webstore.
