Yosuke Aizawa Collaborates With Lardini on a Technical Capsule Collection
Initially unveiled back in January at Pitti Uomo, Yosuke Aizawa of White Mountaineering has collaborated with Lardini on a vast capsule collection.
The collaboration marries together the strengths of both parties and delivers a modern interpretation of menswear as both entities sit on different ends of the spectrum. Once an apprentice to Junya Watanabe, Aizawa is no stranger to the higher echelons of the fashion industry, something he brings to his eponymous label, White Mountaineering. The capsule offers a succinct array of technical outerwear with adaptations made to iconic Lardini silhouettes and some styles that may be familiar to fans of White Mountaineering. Clean blazer jackets, nylon windbreakers and cotton/polyester coats are a few of the selection. Functionality is rife through careful consideration of fabrics and pin-point construction, as well as an abundance of pockets and adjustable fit. As well as the aforementioned, there is luxury footwear on offer in the form of low-profile and trainer-like shoes constructed using plush leathers and suede for a premium feel. Each garment represents two sides of the same coin: innovation and luxury.
The release date is confirmed to be 3rd of October via Lardini retail stores and their online site.
